My Shapes Book

I finally published the paperback format of the first children’s ebook that I self-published! (My latest book is The Unicorn In A Tutu)

“Learning the basic shapes and colours paves the way to building something amazing in the future.” – This Scribbler Mum

‘I wonder if any of my books have any rankings yet.

Okay, let’s go to Amazon. Let’s try Little Star and the Other Shapes.

LOL! Oh my goodness! I have a ranking! This is amazing considering that I’m not really selling any big number of copies to boast about. But look at this!

Disclaimer: This is what I saw when I checked today. Obviously, this will change but I’m just happy that I saw it when it’s at #13! 🙂

So, it is true then – you have to choose your category wisely. Going to keep that in mind.

My first children’s book is #13 (for the Kindle category I chose)! Woohoo!

Good thing I checked and caught it while the ranking is high because it just made my day. Who knows what it will be tomorrow. Well, that’s a good motivation to finally get working on the paperback format.

Right, should be easy enough since I already did the Kindle format…

Oh no! I need a couple more pages to meet the minimum of twenty four. What am I gonna do? What-am-I-going-to-do?

Aha! I can add a couple of bonus activity pages. Good thing it is a learning book.

There! That wasn’t so bad. I just need to put it in the temp- oh no wait. Grrr. I need my images to be 300dpi… need to convert…’

After how many hours…

‘Finally! I think I’ve done it.

Who knew that when I came up with this idea for a YouTube video back then that I would actually turn it into a book.

What’s even more amazing is how my little girl who inspired me with the idea (because she was just starting to learn about shapes then), is now teaching her little sister about shapes.

Oh okay, it’s finished processing. Let’s check if there are any issues… hmmm, I think we are good to go. Approve. Submit and publish.

Now we wait.’

And – the wait is over because the paperback format of Little Star and the Other Shapes is now available on Amazon. Here are the links for UK and US.

You can also get the Kindle format for only 99p. 🙂

If you do happen to purchase this book, your feedback would be such a bonus! 🙂
